Sunny and dry for a while

Weather Blog

Breezy start to the day but plenty of sunshine for a change

The winds will arrive from the northwest through the day and a bit of a shift from the west is anticipated later today.  Highs will be a bit below normal as we move into the afternoon, topping out in the upper 70s east of the Parkway.  Expect this dry and sunny pattern to continue into the weekend as the temps region settles down.  Highs on Saturday will be in the middle 80s… just about right for this time of year.  There may be a few clouds moving over the region Saturday afternoon but be of little consequence.

Sunday is Father’s Day and we should start out on the sunny side.  Clouds will lower and thicken in the afternoon ahead of a few isolated storms in the afternoon.  Highs will be in the upper 80s and the feel of summer is back.

Monday through at least the middle of the work week will be speckled with showers and storms.  Highs will be in the middle to upper 80s.
