(WFXR). Expect to deal with some gusty winds overnight, especially in some of our higher elevated locations.  The gusty winds will be in the 20 – 30 mph range in our lower elevated locations and near 50 along the ridgelines.

There is a Wind Advisory in place west of the Blue Ridge Parkway through the night as well as a High Wind Warning in the Grayson and Carroll Counties. Might be a good idea to secure any loose and light objects on your property.

Winds should relax as the day moves along Tuesday, but we are still expecting to see some breezy conditions. Temps will be in the upper 60s to low 70s.

Wednesday will be another mild day as the temps will be in the 70s once again. We need to once again prepare for a vigorous batch of rain and wind on Thursday morning and then again into the evening.

Friday will be rainy as well, off and on.

Cooler and quiet weather is slated for the weekend at the moment.
