The workweek concludes with another beautiful day today!
Highs will be comparable to yesterday’s with generally sunny skies, though some afternoon clouds will be possible.
We’ll continue the nice weather on Saturday with mostly sunny skies during the morning. Some clouds are expected to move in late in the day in the mountains ahead of our next chance for some showers possible on Sunday.
We’re not anticipating any sort of a washout – just some passing showers off and on through the day.
Some of those showers could linger early on Labor Day but by the afternoon, we’re looking relatively dry, so any outdoor BBQs or other fun activities during the afternoon shouldn’t be affected.
The weekend’s temperatures will generally be in the upper 70s to the lower 80s in the mountains and into the mid 80s further east. We’ll also notice a bit more humidity.
After the holiday weekend, we’re looking dry on Tuesday, but another chance for a few showers or storms will be possible by mid-week next week.
Highs will continue into the upper 70s to the lower 80s in the mountains and mid to maybe some upper 80s east of the Blue Ridge.
In the tropics, we continue monitoring Hurricane Larry. Further strengthening is forecast as the storm is ultimately forecast to move toward the northwest and possibly affect Bermuda toward the middle part of next week, possibly as a major hurricane.
So, enjoy another spectacular day today. If you liked yesterday, you’ll like today!
Enjoy the upcoming holiday weekend!
