ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — A warm and hazy Tuesday is in the works for Southwest and Central Virginia. Showers will have the chance to return Wednesday.
A bit of patchy fog is possible Tuesday morning. Otherwise, mostly to partly sunny skies are in the forecast with dry weather in place. Wildfire smoke from Canada will continue to bring a smoky haze to the region. It will feel like summer with highs in the middle 70s and middle 80s.

A cold front will push through Southwest and Central Virginia Wednesday. More clouds are in the forecast with passing showers possible. A few thunderstorms may come into the mix. It won’t be as warm with afternoon highs in the 70s.
Thursday will be drier and mostly sunny. A few clouds may pass overhead with highs in the 70s. The dry weather pattern continues through Saturday with temperatures gradually trending warmer. Afternoon temperatures will generally be in the 70s Friday while highs will reach the middle 70s and middle 80s Saturday.

The warm weather continues into Sunday with highs in the 80s. However, a few rain showers are possible late in the day. The chance for rain will linger into Monday.
