(WFXR). A smoky haze has once again covered the region as an area of low pressure off the coast of Newfoundland is in just the right position to provide us with unhealthy conditions.

Today Ronaoke was in the Moderate Range for Air Quality, and will be there once again on Tuesday,

As for the weather, today we dodged the raindrops and the strong to severe storms passed to the west and south.

Tuesday will be another warm day with temps in the mid-80s under mostly sunny skies. The winds will be light and there should be a nice mix of clouds and sunshine. After the sun sets, there may be a few showers in the region, but will be of little consequence.

Wednesday will be cloudy with a chance for some rain to fall over the southern tier of the viewing area. Look for the rain to be steady south of 460 and spotty in most other locations.

Thursday through the end of the week and into the weekend will be dry and warm. Highs are expected to be in the upper 70s to low 80s.
