(WFXR).Look for the sunshine to be filtered by cloud cover for the next few days as an area of high pressure continues to rule the skies over the Commonwealth.
Usually, high pressure means mostly sunny skies, but we will see a decent amount of cloud cover that will remain under the dome of air overhead.

The temperatures are likely to be on the “slightly cooler than normal” side with the hazy sunshine. Rain showers are not expected.

There is a very low chance for a shower in the NRV Thursday, but generally we are not looking at any rain until the weekend.
A low is expected to develop off the SE coast of the USA, then drift over North Carolina Saturday and into the weekend. This will provide the rainy pattern that may linger well into next week.
