ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) – Sunshine is expected to continue for the next couple of days as high pressure builds into the region.
Temperatures will be chilly during the morning hours, but much more pleasant during the afternoon as sunshine causes temperatures to rise.
Dry conditions will continue for Saturday as humidity remains low. Enough moisture returns ahead of a cold front on Sunday to bring the chance for showers and storms. Dry conditions will return for the new work week.

In the tropics, Tropical Storm Warnings have been issued for the northeast. Hurricane Lee has weakened and is expected to continue.
Hurricane Margot is weakening as well and is not expected to impact land.
A tropical wave in the southern Atlantic could become a tropical system in the next couple of days.
