As we wrap up the last weekend of Summer today, the weather will certainly be feeling more like fall.
Sunday’s weather will be similar to Saturday’s as we see Mostly Sunny skies once again be the rule of the day with high temperatures still a good 10 degrees, or so, below normal with highs generally in the mid-to-upper 60s across the region.
We’ll still keep the familiar weather in the picture for Monday, but as Fall officially begins on Tuesday, we will begin a bit of a warming trend as we’ll bump the temperatures back up into the lower-to-middle 70s.
By Wednesday, we could see temperatures closer to 80 degrees in the metros – mid 70s elsewhere.
We will be monitoring the progress of Tropical Storm Beta in the Gulf of Mexico as we start to peak at the end of the upcoming work-week as the track does appear to head generally in our direction. If the storm remains mostly off to our south (similarly to Sally), then we may see slightly lower rainfall totals). It’s still plenty early, so we have several days to continue to monitor the progression of this tropical system.
So, generally speaking, much of the upcoming week will be relatively uneventful with our next chance for rain, only possibly, coming in toward the end of the week.
Enjoy your Sunday!
