Afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms have the potential to rumble into early next week. Albeit, at a reduced probability. The one thing that will continue to impact us is the high humidity. Nights will still be muggy and days somewhat stifling through Thursday. After Sunday’s rain chance at 70% Monday through Wednesday will have a 50/50 chance of showers and thunderstorms. And, it will be getting hotter.

Sunday and Monday will be hotter by several degrees with Tuesday and Wednesday hotter still. Highs those days will range from the mid-80s to the low 90s. Next Thursday will begin a cooling trend with highs by the weekend in the mid-70s to low 80s.

Between now and then, there may still be some yard work to do and Sunday will offer a few hours in the morning before chances of afternoon and evening rain.

As has been the case for a few days, the humidity will be high so take health precautions if working or playing out in the heat.

Be well!
