After morning fog, Sunday’s sky will become increasingly cloudy with a 30% chance of showers and a lesser chance of afternoon and evening thunderstorms. Moisture is being pumped into our region from the southeast which will lead to precipitation chances.

Sunday afternoon temperatures will range widely from the mid-70s to the mid-80s. While not hot, it will may feel warm due to increased humidity.

Labor Day will be mostly cloudy with showers likely and a few thunderstorms possible. Morning lows will be in the mid-60s with afternoon temperatures around 82.

At the moment, it does not look like a washout for the weekend. However, there is a slight chance for showers to linger over one spot and result in a greater amount of rain for that area. The chance of precipitation continues through the upcoming week with thunderstorms becoming a greater possibility.

Have a safe weekend!
