We’re enjoying a pleasant Saturday under partly cloudy skies across Southwest Virginia. While some showers are possible by late Sunday, any activity should be long gone before noon Labor Day.
Some areas of fog, especially in the river valleys may develop overnight, but with some clouds present, fog formation will be limited.
Sunday morning may sport a few spotty showers with another round of scattered showers and storm possible late in the afternoon/evening. Shower chances will linger overnight into Monday morning as a weak boundary works southward across the region. Any showers clear by noon Labor Day.
Sunday’s highs will be tempered just a bit by additional clouds. Temperatures warm into the lower 80s.
Labor Day starts out with a few showers exiting the region, but you can expect clearing skies by the afternoon. Look for highs in the mid 80s.
Next best chance for rain looks to hold off until Wednesday.
