It is a rather mild start to the day with temperatures in the 60s. Some patchy fog will be possible through mid-morning. While some spotty showers are possible this morning, the bulk of the rain arrives this afternoon.
A cold front will move across the region today into tonight. As it does, scattered to numerous showers and storms will develop ahead of it. Otherwise, it will be mostly cloudy and humid with highs in the 70s.
A few of these storms may become severe with damaging winds gusts being the main threat. Heavy downpours may lead to some localized flooding. At this time, the risk for an isolated tornado is very low but not zero.
A few lingering showers are expected Friday with gradual clearing through most of the afternoon.
This weekend looks dry other than a slight chance for a pop-up thunderstorm or two with the heating f the day. This weekend will feel like summer with highs near 90!
