(WFXR). A short round of rain is likely overnight that will do nicely in watering the lawn.  The rain is expected to be light to moderate and will end before the sun comes up on Wednesday. There will be ample sunshine Wednesday to dry out the region and temps will stay in the low to mid-60s for highs.

Thursday will be quiet and dry with little change in the temperature profile. Highs in the mid-60s with plenty of sunshine will define the day. High pressure to the east will bring in some milder air overnight ahead of a warmer day Friday.

Changes begin on Friday as clouds move in ahead of what is likely to be a decent round of rain.  Once again, the bulk of the rain will occur overnight and likely taper off near or just after sunrise Saturday.

The rain after midnight Friday into Saturday may be a bit more robust than the rain of tonight and we may even hear some thunder. Currently not expecting anything severe, but we are still several days out from the event, so we will monitor this closely.

Saturday, after the rain, will be windy and mild with highs in the 70s as the skies clear. Sunday will be sunny and cooler, with highs in the 60s.
