The rain is expected to arrive well after midnight and linger into the morning hours of Saturday.

The rain will become spottier as the day moves along and there may even be some sunshine in the afternoon.  Rainfall amounts will be light.

Winds will pick up behind the cold front and the temperatures are likely to be on the chilly side overnight into Sunday

Sunday will be dry and breezy with temps topping out in the 50s under mostly sunny skies.  Please join me Sunday evening in Lynchburg as we ride in the parade that steps off at 4 pm.

Clouds return to the area on Monday afternoon ahead of a long stretch of rainy days to follow. Rain is likely Tuesday through at least Friday.
