An upper level piece of energy passing to our south this morning is producing showers for areas south of U.S. 460. Otherwise, temperatures are chilly again, in the 40s.
Scattered showers will move east and exit the region by around noon. Clearing skies will allow for more sunshine during the afternoon.
Highs today will only manage the low and mid 60s across much of the region. This will be more than 10 degrees cooler than the average high for this time of year in many locations.
Thursday will be a little milder with highs climbing back into the mid and upper 60s. Our next chance showers looks to be mainly for along and west of the Parkway late Thursday and again on Friday.
