This weekend is going to bring mild temperatures and a break in the precipitation. At least, for one day. Saturday’s afternoon temperatures across the region will range from the mid-70s in the NRV and Highlands to the mid-80s in the Piedmont region along and east of the Blue Ridge. It will be a pleasant day to catch up on outdoor chores.

Our Pinpoint Weather Futurecast shows Saturday’s rain will be south of us along with the cold front that’s been stuck in our area for the past few days. But, for Sunday, the front will drift north back into the area and bring more showers and thunderstorms.

Sunday will start in the 60s to low 70s and warm into the mid-70s to low-80s under a partly cloudy sky. The chance of rain Sunday is around 50%

Have a great weekend!
