Pinpoint Weather: Dry and pleasant pattern for the weekend
After the slushy and icy pattern on Friday our weekend is shaping up to be quiet and dry. The area of low pressure responsible for providing us with the snow recently has moved well out to sea, opening the door for clear conditions.
The Weekend is looking to be on the sunny side both Saturday and Sunday and the temperatures will rise a few degrees above the normal 45 for this time of year. Not much in the way of wind will be noticeable as well, so enjoy.
There may be some lingering snow on the ground this morning, especially in Carroll and Grayson counties, but for the most part the solar energy will do wonders getting rid of the lingering moisture.
Problem for Saturday may be some muddy parks and hiking trails as the water will be slow to absorb into the soil. Still, with temps near 50 we shouldn’t have much to be annoyed with this afternoon.
Sunday will be dry and even milder with highs passing the 50° mark. There may be a few high clouds drifting overhead, but for the most part it looks like Sunday will be a dry and mild day.
Monday may see a few clouds lower and thicken as the day moves along. There is the hint of some wintry precipitation mixed with some rain into Tuesday morning, but we will cross that bridge when we get to it.
Enjoy the weekend.
Stay safe and healthy.
