This afternoon’s shower and storm chances will be primarily across areas south of U.S. 460. The main concern with today’s storms will be the heavy rain that could lead to some localized flooding.
A cold front will continue to sag southward into North Carolina tonight. Monday, behind the front, isolated showers and storms are possible with most areas staying dry. It will also be noticeably cooler Monday with a mix of sun and clouds.
Tuesday and Wednesday look dry with highs climbing back into the 90s by midweek!
