(WFXR). The flow of water has generally tapered off, but not before dropping a decent amount over the Commonwealth Thursday and Friday.

The other noticeable feature Friday was the significantly cooler air. Temperatures spiked into the 80s since Tuesday, but Friday will be about 15 – 20 degrees cooler across the board. The actual high was 62, but that occurred just a little after Midnight, temps dropped all day and were generally in the 40s most of the afternoon. Low is actually the high, the high is the afternoon temps.

This cooler pattern is likely to be with us through the weekend.

Saturday will have some rain lingering in our Southside Counties along the line between NC and VA, but should be mainly light rain.

Skies will be mostly overcast, then gradually clearing as we head overnight into Easter Sunday.

Easter Sunday will be cold to start, generally in the 30s at sunrise, so Sunrise Services will need to be attended with a jacket or coat. Sunny skies most of the day and temps reach the low 60s.

Sunrise Services will be on the chilly side.

The next work week will be quiet and dry with no rain in sight until Friday.
