A Wind Advisory continues until 1pm for along and west of the Parkway as winds may gust to 50 mph. Also, a High Wind Warning continues for Carroll County until 9am as winds there could gust as high as 65 mph.
Strong winds will not only make it feel much colder than actual air temperatures, but it will also make for difficult driving conditions, especially for high-profile vehicles. Keep both hands on the steering wheel and use caution!
We’ll enjoy much more sunshine and warmer highs compared to recent days. Despite the wind, it will not be as bitterly cold as yesterday. It will still, however, be cold! Highs around 40 degrees will feel more like 20s and 30s this afternoon due to the winds. Through the afternoon, winds gradually decrease with much lighter winds are in store for tonight and tomorrow.
Next chance for rain moves in late Thursday with a wintry mix possible in time for the Friday morning commute.
