This morning will likely be warmer than this afternoon as colder air rushes in behind a passing cold front later today.
While a few showers, and even some snowflakes for the higher elevations, are possible this morning, areas east of the Parkway will likely stay dry.
A cold front will move across the region late this morning. As it passes to the east, temperatures will fall during the afternoon for most areas. This afternoon, temperatures will likely fall through the 50s and 40s for most spots. Winds will also increase behind the front with gusts anywhere from 30 to 45 mph possible.
