Today we stayed on the sunny side of the street once again, but some noticeable winds were present as well. This was a drying day, any water that was left over from the rains over the weekend should have been effectively evaporated by the heat and the wind. Some snow melt may cross a few roadways today and re-freeze tonight, as it will be cold, but the black ice will not be widespread.
Speaking of cold weather, tonight will be cold with temps dropping into the 20s most locations with a few areas dipping into the teens. Wind chill values may not be on the dangerous side, but they will be into the single digits at times in the mountain locations. If you have to go outside tonight and you are in windy and chilly location, please bundle up.
Friday will be much cooler with highs only topping out in the upper 40s to the low 50s. The winds will be on the breezy side, coming out of the northwest at 10 – 15 mph. Expect to see plenty of sunshine during the day and a lot of stars at night.
Saturday and Sunday will be similar to Friday with highs in the low 50s.
Monday starts a warming trend as temperatures will be in the 60s. Each day will be a bit warmer into the middle of the week. Wednesday and Thursday will be in the upper 60s to low 70s.
Expect to see plenty of sunshine over the next several days.
