Pinpoint Weather: Calmer this weekend with just isolated storms possible

Weather Blog

Compared to earlier this week, our weather for today and tomorrow will be calmer. However, a few isolated showers and storms will be possible. Although a brief, heavy downpour is possible with any of the showers and storms that do occur, severe weather is not expected.

Best chances for isolated showers/storms Saturday looks to be along and west of the Parkway. Areas east of the Parkway will see a better chance for showers/storms, albeit only isolated in coverage, Sunday.

While highs will be a bit above average this weekend, the heat gets cranking for the work week. Highs by midweek will climb into the mid 90s again for many locations. It will also be quite humid, making it feel several degrees hotter than what you see on the thermometer.

Rain chances look slim to none Monday and Tuesday. However, scattered storms can be expected midweek with a passing weak boundary.
