After the warmest Christmas in Roanoke goes down in the history books as Dec. 25, 2021, temperatures will remain above normal through next week. It will feel continue to feel a little more like late October versus late December.
High pressure settles in Sunday afternoon. Sunday will feature more sunshine, less wind, and continued mild temperatures. For comparison, most locales should be hitting highs in the 40s this time of year — not 60s.
This warmer-than-average trend continues despite increasing rain chances by midweek.
