The mercury in the thermometer is rising well above normal allowing us to feel like spring. High pressure to the south is ushering in some mild air for now and a warm front will cross the region. Wednesday is expected to be the mildest (warmest) day of the week.

The dry conditions are expected to yield to off-and-on rain showers starting Thursday and lingering through Saturday. The rain will be showery in nature so flooding rains are not on the table.

Over the weekend there is considerable variation in the weather models, so until the models get more “run to run” consistency, I will continue with the suggestion that we will see scattered showers Saturday and a chilly scenario. Below is the latest run from our Baron Model suggesting some mountain snow Saturday morning.
