ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — This afternoon will be partly to mostly sunny and rather mild with highs a little above normal. Wind will be light and humidity on the lower side.

High pressure to the north will influence our temperatures on the mild side before a developing high to the south pumps up warmer air midweek.

Highs will reach 10-15 degrees above normal Tuesday through Thursday.

Other than a slight chance of isolated mountain showers, there’s not much in the way of precipitation until the end of the week. We’re still quite dry with many locations only getting a small percentage of the rainfall normal for the past month.

The end of Daylight Saving Time shifts sunset to around 5:18 and sunrise to 6:48.
Have a great weekend!
