With the weekend here, many are hoping for a dry weekend to have the opportunity to get outside and enjoy the fall color.
In fact, the upcoming week is expected to be dry, though a slight chance for showers looks possible as we head toward the end of next week.
Before we get that far in the forecast, let’s look at this weekend as we can expect generally clear skies both Saturday and Sunday.
We do have a likelihood of more areas of frost heading into Saturday night as we fully anticipate additional frost advisories to be posted for parts of the area again tonight.
Parts of the NRV did have temperatures last night in the lower 30s where a freeze did take place. Whether or not it was enough to officially end the growing season remains to be seen, but we’ll likely get official word whether or not the growing season has ended in parts of the NRV in the coming hours.
Looking ahead into next week, temperatures will be warming up into the 70s in most areas and possibly even approach 80 toward the latter part of the week, so yes, we’re on the cooler side right now, but a return to warmer weather is in the cards.
As previously mentioned, we do have the chance of a few showers possible toward the end of the upcoming week. We’ll continue to monitor things but right now, that rain doesn’t look concerning for significant issues.
