Fog will develop into Monday morning due to the moisture at the surface. Visibility will be less than a miles in some spots, so make sure to use extra caution during the morning commute and give yourself a little extra time for traveling. Fog will lift during the mid-morning hours and variable cloud cover — anywhere from partly to mostly cloudy skies — can be expected overhead. Overall, a dry day to start the work week. Temperatures will be in the 60s for the next few days.
A cold front is slated to arrive Tuesday with rain expected mainly during the morning hours. Expect moderate to heavy rainfall at times, and a few rumbles of thunder are not out of the question during the morning and early afternoon. Gusty winds are possible as well with some of these storms. This could be another good soaking rain for the region, so we’ll take whatever we can get.
High pressure moves in for Wednesday and Thursday. Fair weather is expected with mostly sunny skies and fall-like temperatures. Another chance for rain is expected for Friday and into the weekend.
