Rain showers are exiting to the east and a nice batch of sunshine may poke through before the end of the afternoon. Temps will warm up into the 60s which is still below the normal high for this date of near 70.
The winds will pick up once again after the rain exits and we may see gusts near 20 to 25 mph on a regular basis both tonight and Tuesday. A cold front is forecast to push through the Commonwealth on Tuesday afternoon, but have little moisture to work with so I expect just spotty showers. Windy weather will once again be an issue, but nothing overwhelming, but enough to impact the region with annoyance.
Wednesday will be the dry day of the week with high pressure overtaking the area. Sunny and mild weather will quickly yield to rain on Thursday. The rain will linger off and on until Friday morning. There should be some sunshine on Friday afternoon, but another round of rain arrives on Saturday.
All in all, this week will be what would easily be referred to as “unsettled” with off and on chances for rain intermingled with some clear conditions. Overall, the rainy times will outweigh the dry ones.
Stay Safe and healthy.
