After a chilly morning with areas of frost, this afternoon will be sunny and warmer than yesterday. Today’s highs are a few degrees below normal.

Temperatures this week will warm quite a bit and reach readings more like late May than mid-April.

High pressure will dominate our weather for most of the week and inhibit precipitation. That looks to change late in the week with an increase in warm southerly winds. As temperatures climb so will the possibility for instability and thunderstorms on Friday and Saturday.

Have a great weekend!
