High flood risk continues for parts of region today.

Active flooding concerns across the region on this Thursday.

The Flash Flood Watch has been extended northward and continues through tonight.

Multiple rounds of rain over already saturated grounds will continue the risk for flooding.  Also, landslides and debris flows are possible in any mountainous terrain receiving more than 5” of total rainfall.

Rain chances will continue Friday.  However, the rain will be more scattered in coverage as the weather pattern will begin to change. Late day scattered showers and storms are forecast for Friday.

Although rain chances will be lower for the weekend, we’ll be watching for some rivers to continue to be around flood stage through the weekend.

Stay safe and healthy.
