More clouds move in from the south through the afternoon with just a few spotty showers possible along the VA/NC state line.
While a few spotty showers are possible for areas south of Roanoke, better chances for isolated showers for more of the area will occur Tuesday. Otherwise, more clouds can be expected along with a noticeable rise in humidity.
After making landfall Sunday along the southeastern coast of Louisiana, Cristobal continues inland and will likely weaken to a post-tropical low by Wednesday as it moves into the Midwest. This low and its remnant moisture will meet up with a cold front. This front will slide through our area late Wednesday into Thursday, increasing our rain chances ahead of it.
Clearing skies are expected behind the front Thursday afternoon through Friday.
Stay safe and healthy.
