
Lynchburg Community Event Acquires 600 Pairs of Shoes for Area's Less Fortunate
The group One Community One Voice held a community-wide event at Riverside Park in Lynchburg. Free items, such as clothes, school supplies, and job applications, were given to all those who attended and wished to take part in the giveaways. The notable handout for this event was free shoes, 600 pairs of them, coming from OCOV partnering with the international non-profit group Samaritan's Feet.
