Friday Night Blitz Previews : Liberty Minutemen

BEDFORD, Va. (WFXR) -- It was a whirlwind last couple of months for the Liberty High School football program. In the middle of June after 20 years as Minutemen's head coach Chris Watts resigned to accept an assistant coach position at Davidson College. As you can expect, Liberty had to scramble to find a replacement. In the middle of July, Liberty High School officials made the call to former Minutemen player in Daryl Robertson. Robertson played on Liberty's 2002 Class AA Division 3 state title team. Recently, Robertson was an assistant coach at E.C. Glass and William Fleming.
