Delay for census data expected to keep Virginia from using redrawn map in 2021 elections

Virginia will get redistricting data from the U.S. Census Bureau just over a month before November’s elections, a nearly six-month delay that could lead to House of Delegates elections for three straight years for the first time since the early 1980s.
