CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WFXR) – The 11th ranked Virginia was able to take game 2 of the their three game series with No. 7 Virginia Tech to even the series. Scoreless through three innings until Jake Gelof hit a solo home run to put the Cavaliers on the board. But it wasn’t until the 5th inning where Virginia took over scoring 5 runs. Virginia Tech would close the gap, but the Hokies fell to the Cavaliers 6-3. Game three in the series has been bumped up to 11 a.m. Sunday, due to inclement weather.
