BLACKSBURG, Va. (WFXR) — For the third time during this offseason, another Virginia Tech men’s basketball player is leaving Blacksburg.
The school confirmed Monday the departure of P.J. Horne, who decided to enter the transfer portal after averaging 7.6 points a game last season as a starting center.
Horne, a junior, could join a new program as a graduate transfer. He’s expected to complete his bachelor’s degree in sociology by the end of the summer.
Horne is the third player to leave the program this spring after Landers Nolley II transferred to Memphis and Isaiah Wilkens landed at Wake Forest.
