It was a decision made back in October, but on Wednesday Patrick Henry’s record breaking state champion swimmer Cabell Whitlow was honored for her decision to attend Duke University as a collegiate swimmer. Whitlow says she looks to be a premed and Spanish major. Her coach Erik Largen called her one of the most dominate athletes to every swim at Patrick Henry–a high honor for a program who’s won three straight titles.
“I’m so excited especially since it’s my senior year,” Whitlow said. “I’ve had so much support from my friends and my family has been there with me through every step of the way.”
Congrats to Cabell and we look forward to seeing you in the ACC pool!
