Nationals drop home opener to the Mets

Thursday had perfect weather but not the greatest outcome for the Washington Nationals as they lose their home opener to the New York Mets 8 to 2. In the 7th inning, the Mets only lead by 2 runs but then New York’s Jay Bruce launched a grand slam off of Stephen Strasburg and all of a sudden the score was 8 to 2. That’s how this one would end.
