Lynchburg, Va. — Erin Green had a double-double off the bench to lead University of Lynchburg’s women’s basketball team to a 65-45 win over Ferrum Wednesday night in Old Dominion Athletic Conference play.
Green tallied a season-high 18 points to go with 14 rebounds and two blocks to lead Lynchburg (12-12, 9-8 ODAC), which dominated the second half after the two teams entered halftime tied at 21.
Maggie Quarles (13 points) and Lizzie Davis (12) joined Green in double figures, while Abby Oguich chipped in six points and 13 boards.
Kayla Cabiness led Ferrum (4-20, 4-13) with 16 points.
Lynchburg’s women’s basketball team will wrap up the regular season Saturday at home against Randolph-Macon at 2 p.m.
