PULASKI, Va. (WFXR) — Changes are coming to the Pulaski franchise in the new Appalachian League. Our WFXR Sports racing insider J.W. Martin will become the new General Manager of the Pulaski team effective Monday. Martin gave us the details on the change today. Martin replaces Betsy Haugh as she is leaving her role with Pulaski to pursue other baseball opportunities. Before becoming Pulaski Yankees general manager, she was an assistant manager for the team. Haugh also worked for the Danville Braves Appalachian League team. Martin tells us he is excited about this new opportunity with Pulaski. Martin has been the WFXR Sports racing insider since 2017.
