RICHMOND, Va. (WFXR) — Day one of the Washington Football Team’s training camp in Richmond Wednesday. All eyes will be on Washington’s passing attack as newcomer Ryan Fitzpatrick is battling for the job with Taylor Heinicke and Kyle Allen will have a main target in Terry McLaurin. The former Ohio State wide receiver has over 2000 yards in his two seasons in the league and has caught 11 touchdowns looking to continue to improve in year three. “I think the next the next step is to continue to improve and being a lot more consistent. Try to be a more deep ball threat down the field so I can help stretch the offense more, With Fitz there that will help a little more. I am looking forward to what we got going this year. I am looking forward to the challenge of being the number 1 guy again. I also can’t wait to help the group grow along with it is not just me it is an all of us thing,” said McLaurin. McLaurin’s 87 catches last year were the most by a Washington wide receiver since 2013.
