CEDAR RAPIDS, Ia. (WFXR) — The Lynchburg Hornets have made the deepest run of any ODAC team in the Division III College World Series. The Hornets needed two wins to earn the program’s first national title in baseball.
Lynchburg will play No. 1-ranked Johns Hopkins in a best-of-three championship series beginning Wednesday, June 7 at 1 p.m. EST in Cedar Rapids, Iowa at PG Cares Field at Veterans Memorial Stadium. Game 2 will be on Thursday, June 8 at noon EST, and Game 3 will be played 50 minutes after Game 2 if necessary.
