Bath County native and former James Madison softball pitcher named to Team USA

ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — Continuing to build off the Tokyo 2020 Olympic silver medal finish, USA Softball announced Friday the 18 athletes who will represent the United States as a member of the 2022 USA Softball Women’s National Team World Games roster.
One of those players has a local connection!
Hot Springs native and former JMU star pitcher Jailyn Ford earning a spot on the team.
Ford was an All American pitcher with the Dukes from 2013-16.
She was drafted #3 overall by the Akron Racers and later played for USSA Pride of national pro fastpitch, winning back-to-back titles in 2018 and 2019, being named MVP in 2019.
