FOREST, Va. (WFXR) — Jefferson Forest celebrated the accomplishments of two athletes set to play at the next level.
Aubrey Franklin will take his talents to the ODAC and play for Emory and Henry.
“Here at Jefferson Forest, I had a great experience here. Football wise, school wise, just everything. Football here has just been emotional,” Franklin said. “Everything under the rainbow for me has been amazing here.”
Dyson Yuille will go out-of-state and compete for the University of Charleston-West Virginia. And for Yuille, signing a letter of intent is just part of his comeback story.
“Couple of years ago I never even thought I was still going to play football facing an injury my sophomore year but here I am, I guess everything happens for a reason,” Yuille said. “God has blessed me with the opportunity to play at the next level and continue my academic and athletic career so I’m just very humble and blessed.”
