MONETA, Va. (WFXR) — Big news for one of our local high school wrestlers in Staunton River junior Noah Nininger.
Noah last February at the Salem Civic Center won the Class 3 title at 132 lbs and is committing to wrestle at Virginia Tech, according to the Staunton River High School wrestling “X,” formerly known as Twitter, account. As a freshman, Noah was selected by Wrestling USA magazine and World of Wrestling as the top wrestler in his age group for the 102-pound weight class in the entire country.
