PULASKI COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — Pulaski County High School’s varsity football team will be playing a new opponent on Friday night after COVID-19 concerns interfered with their original game plans.

According to the high school’s Facebook post from Tuesday, Aug. 31, the game was originally set to be played at Tennessee High School in Bristol, but virus issues led to the game’s cancellation.

Instead, Pulaski County High’s football players will travel to Jefferson Forest High School for the varsity game, which starts at 7 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 3.
