RUSTBURG, Va. (WFXR) — Eden Bigham struck out 18 batters and pitched a perfect game to help Rustburg defeat Lord Botetourt, 4-0, in the Class 3 state semifinals on Tuesday.

Tinsley Abbott delivered from the plate, knocking in two RBIs.

“It was exciting. We all came in knowing it was going to be a good game and we had to come out and play and that’s what we did,” Bigham said. “I felt really warmed up and once I got out there, I felt really comfortable.”

The Red Devils will play either New Kent or Skyline on the road in the state championship game on Saturday.
