ROANOKE COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — “What I try to tell our guys you know attitude is our word and Knight Vision is our motto. We want to attack every thing with an 1-0 mentality. Everything we need to do to try to win.,” said Cave Spring head coach Nick Leftwich.

For coach Nick Leftwich all he does is know how to be successful. Being an assistant at William Fleming and a quarterback at Salem he has won at those places.
With the winning resume, the players are buying into the process.

“Going into every game with a winning mentality. Last year not a lot of the guys didn’t have a winning a mentality. I think it is good that players want a winning team. We want to build this team from the ground up and I am looking forward to it,” said senior quarterback Skylor Griffiths.

“No matter who we are playing or what is going on whether it was in the classroom, weight room, game field and practice field, everything you do you have to be try successful with it. If you don’t go with it with a winners mentality, then what are you wasting your time on doing so we have to get across to our guys to invest their time and i think they have bought into it. Hopefully it shows up on the field,” said Leftwich.
