ROANOKE COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — It was one special night over at Bogle Stadium, where it was homecoming for the Cave Spring Knights. One of their most famous alums made a return.

Pro Football Hall of Famer and former Virginia Cavalier Ronde Barber was back in the house and he was honored before the Knights homecoming game against Blacksburg.

Barber, a 1993 graduate of Cave Spring, was inducted into the Pro Football Hall Of Fame in August after a long NFL career with the Tampa Bay Bucs, where he won the Super Bowl. He is the first Roanoke native to get this honor.

As you can expect he was excited to be back in his old stomping grounds.
